Friday Foolery #73: True Nature

My family & I went to Disneyland and California Adventure this week!

I didn’t schedule any posts while I was gone because I don’t like not being here to respond to comments and questions. This may be surprising but I’m also a big fan of completely unplugging from the grid once in a while. No Twitter, no mobile web access, no laptops or email from the hotel, nada. It was wonderful, I didn’t miss it a bit, and I felt sad for the kids at Disneyland who had an adult with them scowling at screen text or taking a call while flying on Dumbo. That’s just not right. Please smack me upside the head if I ever turn into that instead of the type of parent I admire: the daddies wearing their pooped daughters’ pink Hello Kitty, Hannah Montana and Disney Princesses backpacks.

A fun discovery there was the magic books in Beast’s Library at California Adventure. They ask you questions then give some wise insight regarding your real character. Take a look at mine:

Oh yes indeed

The determining factor between heroine and villain is if you prefer to eat lunch with nice people, or eat nice people for lunch.

Remember this if you want to have lunch with me at MLA or something.
